About us

IPIX is a software company, established in 1982. After a couple of years of gaining development knowledge and experience it became a leading Polish IT company responsible for delivery of big integration solutions in cooperation with Sun and Price Waterhouse. The company was very active in the governmental sector and this allowed to gain a wide and deep experience, knowledge, and a kind of a "feeling" of this environment. It took part in and played a key role in substantial software and integration projects of that time, such as MIS for Council of Ministers and Polish Radiocommunication Agency, and development of dedicated software for the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 1995 it had the first opportunity to get involved in a project financed by a foreign institution (World Bank). As the project was successfully completed, similar involvements followed, ego a complex system for labour offices in a 5 million city of St Petersburg, or a TACIS project on behalf of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In 1996 IPIX emerged on GSM market as one of the first companies delivering IT services to newborn mobile companies. Its staff was incorporated in software development projects, what led to the company specialisation in two areas:

- development of systems on Remedy platform,

- development of systems for Radio Frequency Departments.

Thanks to above the company became the leading group of professionals, able to provide mobile companies not only with up-to-date SW development services but also with business and know-how support. This became the most appreciated added value of the IPIX company. Presently the company counts some 80 members of its staff /project managers, analysts, developers, RF engineers, billing specialists, et al. and offers partnership in resolving most of problems in developing systems for contemporary telecommunication providers.
