In radio network management important issue is to verify how this network works in terms of end-user experience. In order to deliver desired information Ipix has created special department to plan and run drive test campaigns, process date and deliver reports. Additionally optimization recommendations can be attached.

Measurement platform

With Anite as a partner Ipix has built versatile drive test platform based on Nemo Outdoor software, which enables usage off almost any available type of end-user equipment or frequency scanner (PcTel, Rohde&Schwarz, Anritsu). In result our drive test measurement system is extremely flexible and scalable and it would fit any client requirements. Each car in a fleet is capable of handling up to 20 measurement channels in different technologies (2G/3G/LTE/CDMA). Available tests can be performed for CS and PS domain for services as Voice and Video connections, SMS, MMS, HTTP, POP3, SMTP, FTP, RTT and more.

 

Post processing platform

Very important stage of radio network testing is post-processing platform, which often is a bottleneck of research process. Ipix is in very comfortable position in this matter as it has it's own Numatix software, which was developed basing on experiences and know-how gained during cooperation with long-term partner - POLKOMTEL S.A., which is the biggest operator in Polnad. Numatix is design in such manner, that it support many types of measurement data of different vendors like TEMS, any type of equipment controlled by Anite's Nemo Outdoor, DGT in-tap probes. Numatix is constantly developed to support more vendors and new types of technologies and equipment (SwissQual, Genex).
System is designed to calculate KPI's and KQI's compliant with ETSI, however creating and running own indicators and analyses is also possible. An automated process of report generation based on built-in and self defined templates enables report preparation in the end of the they after campaign is finished. In case of requirement of analyses and trouble-shooting it takes up to 3 days.
